What's the difference between Production and Scout accounts?

Both account types have the same features - they can browse locations, save to folders, and contact owners. The distinction helps us understand who's using the platform. Productions typically represent companies, while Scouts are often freelancers who work with multiple productions.

Can I list multiple properties?

Yes, location owners can list as many properties as they want. Each property has its own listing with separate photos, details, and contact preferences.

How long does listing approval take?

Most listings are reviewed within 1-2 business days. We check that listings have adequate photos and accurate information before making them visible to productions.

Does LocationReel handle payments or contracts?

No, LocationReel is a marketplace that connects owners with productions. All agreements, contracts, and payments are handled directly between the property owner and the production company. We recommend having proper contracts and insurance in place for any rental.

What areas does LocationReel cover?

Currently, LocationReel focuses on locations across Ontario, Canada. This includes the Greater Toronto Area, Ottawa, Hamilton, and surrounding regions. We may expand to other provinces in the future.

How do I report a problem with a listing?

If you notice inaccurate information, inappropriate content, or have concerns about a listing, please use the report feature on the listing page or contact us directly. We take all reports seriously and investigate promptly.

Can I switch my account type later?

Yes, if your needs change you can contact us to update your account type. For example, if you start as a Production user but later want to list your own property, we can update your account to Location Owner.
