By accessing or using LocationReel ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

LocationReel is an online marketplace that connects film and video production companies ("Production Users") with property owners who wish to rent their locations for filming ("Location Owners"). We provide a platform to facilitate these connections but are not a party to any agreements between users.

Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to update it as necessary.

Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

5. Location Owner Responsibilities

As a Location Owner, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful information about your property
• Have legal authority to list the property for filming purposes
• Maintain appropriate insurance coverage for your property
• Comply with all local laws, regulations, and zoning requirements
• Respond to inquiries in a timely manner
• Honor any agreements made with Production Users

6. Production User Responsibilities

As a Production User, you agree to:

• Use the Service only for legitimate production purposes
• Respect the properties and follow all agreed-upon guidelines
• Obtain necessary permits and insurance for your production
• Pay agreed-upon fees to Location Owners as arranged
• Leave properties in the same condition as found
• Communicate honestly and professionally with Location Owners

7. Prohibited Conduct

Users may not:

• Provide false or misleading information
• Use the Service for illegal purposes
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Circumvent the platform to avoid fees (when applicable)
• Scrape, copy, or reproduce content without permission
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the Service
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation

8. Content and Listings

User Content

You retain ownership of content you submit but grant LocationReel a license to use, display, and distribute it in connection with the Service.

Content Standards

All listings and content must be accurate, not misleading, and comply with applicable laws. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LocationReel and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to:

• Property damage during filming
• Personal injury at listed locations
• Disputes between users
• Lost revenue or business opportunities
• Unauthorized access to your account

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LocationReel, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these terms.

11. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes between users should be resolved directly between the parties involved. LocationReel may, at its discretion, assist in mediating disputes but is under no obligation to do so.

12. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and content (excluding user content), is owned by LocationReel and protected by intellectual property laws.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

14. Modifications to Terms

We may modify these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

15. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles.

16. Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
